HAYWARD, CA AUG 18 2010 – TouchMark, a division of Delphon Industries and industry leader in Medical Device Pad Printing, announced today that it will expand its services to include catheter tip forming. Medical device manufacturers will now be able to rely on TouchMark’s in-house production and advanced die design technologies for their catheter tip forming projects.

“The addition of tip forming to TouchMark’s host of services allows us to provide a more turn-key solution to our medical device manufacturing customers,” says Raymund Abiera, TouchMark Sales Manager. The company is able to work with virtually any substrate including polyurethane, polyethylene, PEBAX, PTFE,PVC, polypropylene, PEEK, and FEP to create tips for IV catheters, sheaths, and dilators.

Background: TouchMark, originally founded in 1992, was purchased by Delphon Industries in 2006. For more than 15 years the company has worked closely with leading electronics and medical customers to provide solutions to their pad printing challenges. TouchMark has developed an expertise with difficult substrates, inks and unique shapes.
